Wow!! Wow!! WOW!!!!

Do you know that all the fire stations in Singapore is open to public on Saturdays from 9-11am?!! I say, go for it!!!! Very detailed and informative, even though we were the only ones there!!

To continue with our fire trucks' theme, we went to the one nearest to our house @ ang mo kio and were a little skeptical about it being opened to public as there were no other civilians around, nor any thing to suggest an open house. Checked with the guard and soon after, a SCDF personnel came to greet us. And that was the beginning of our wonderful personal tour. :)

*we stepped up into a real anytime-can-go-on-call fire engine!!

*they brought out almost everything from the truck to show us!!! Very detailed show and explanation of ALL the equipments!!

*and we could even try our hands on the mist guns/sprayer!!! Mama didn't have the strength to dispense the water!! Haaha...

* baby in awe!

*all aboard!!! :)

*the firemen checking their equipment and using a fire hydrant! A routine for them every morning.

There was really nothing that we couldn't see or touch there and I was really pleasantly surprised. Too bad, the ambulance (which left on call when we reached) didn't come back in time for us to climb aboard.

And just when the fireman was walking us out, they sounded the familiar siren and that probably made Luke's day as he turned back and pointed at the fire engines. We will definitely be back again!!! :)
