Look what we found in the garden!!

.... 2 cocoons hanging on the frame for the pot!!!!! We are beginning to feel like butterfly breeders!! Hahahahha.... And lukey is more than happy to show them to whoever who asked to see them!! He will also check on them every other day!!!

And guess what?!! He found one more hanging from the cactus two pots away!!!!! :)

* farmer Luke doing his rounds....

Oh, we haven't been here for months!!

It was a cloudy, breezy morning... And what better way to enjoy this wonderful weather than to take a stroll in the park... We walked to a faraway playground (that's probably the biggest in this whole estate) - Somewhere we haven't gone for the longest time!! The huge play equipment with a number '6' bouncy car!! :)

* enroute, we stopped by the row of fruit trees to satisfy farmer Luke's love of fruit trees.. Or so his mama thinks... Hahaha.. The mangoes are so in season now!!!

Mama pushed the stroller up the treacherous slope and before she could catch her breath, the son grew impatient and wanted out the stroller like-right-NOW!! His tone of voice was going higher and higher.... Put him down and he immediately darted to the bouncy car!!!

And loving it!!!

* doing a variation of play on the bouncy car!

We spent a long time there... Working up a sweat even in this cloudy, breezy morning!! Little Boy again made his mama climb up the frame - stepping up behind him on a 'bridge' or rather a bumpy slopey plastic connector with no handles and dangling way off the ground!!! Holding him with one hand and the other hanging on to dear life!! hahahaha.... We went up and down 3 times!!!!!! My fear of heights may be cured soon if this goes on.......

On our way back, we had to stop by our usual playground at babe's insistence and hung around for a while.... Babe found a little mango on the grass and was really happy!! And we could finally go home after that!! :)

Once home, farmer Luke quickly went to the box of mangoes we have at home and pulled some mangoes out to compare with his 'little mango'....... Hahahhah.....

It has been a 'fruitful' morning!! Hahahaha.... ;)

A fun evening at AMK playground!!

.. with the jie jie and kors kors!!! Literally beaming when ah keem came to pick us with all the children in the car!!!

Kai sheun kor kor brought his gigantic dump truck and excavator, much to babe's delight! And he was playing with them for a good half hour without moving from the very spot I put him on!! Hahaha....

Then it was time to study the dump truck.... Turned it over to examine the big wheels!! Hahahaha.... Roll and roll and roll.......

Dig and dig and dig.....

Digging for kor kor's toes can be a lot of fun too!!! And he definitely needed his excavator for this massive job!! Hahaha...

Then it was time to hit the playground equipment!! Making his breathless mama climb up and down the frame!! (Closely following the son, so no photos! Haha) He went all the way up to the tallest slide (which made my legs a little jelly as it's about one storey high?!) and very bravely slid down.... Had to scream for jie jie to catch him at the bottom!! Hahaha.... He looked a little taken aback by the speed and steepness midway... But that didn't deter him from going up again!!!

We were there till the sun set.... And ah keem sent us home for dinner. What a delightful evening!! Even Kai ma and papa were at the gate to greet us when we reached!! :)

And after nap....

My puffy eyed boy....

We got lucky today..

Managed to get on a (rare) double-decker bus service 13 to bishan!! Guess the boy was happy.... He looked up and down the bus just before we boarded and was muttering "duh deh-ker bus" all the way up!! Grinning, of course... Hahahahha....

His head was bobbing from left to right to take in the sight.... And he could identify the AMK library and the "jeep playground" opposite, also "mmmm - McDonald's"!!!! Hahaha.... But as we approached bishan, the novelty probably wore off and he was in a rather pensive mood till it was time to press the bell!!! We alighted right outside the mrt station and he waved the bus goodbye.... "Bye bye duh deh-ker bus!!!"

Did our usual stuff at junction 8 before heading home in a train. :) A very smooth journey today despite missing the half hour interval shuttle bus on our way back! Crossed the road to take the other buses for a longer walk home....

A little play time after lunch... Waving to the garbage truck uncles is one of the daily highlights for him. He's always happy to see them!!

Then came nap time.... Since we started our no-milk-to-sleep campaign, today is the first proper nap I'm taking with him - without letting him feed. He's doing fine at night so far - in fact sleeping within 3-5mins with no fuss..... But I guess day naps are different to him. And we had to start from the beginning, which is the wailing and crying and squirming.... And he did... for a good 15mins before settling to sleep on my tummy.... :) you can do it, my dear darling!!

Good morning Wednesday!!!!

We're in good spirits this morning!!!! Let's start our day!!!!!

Hooray for Lego blocks!!

He plays with them in the mornings, he plays with them in the evenings... And any time in between!!!! :)

Good investment, papa!! (Think tis because papa wants to play with it too!!) So most days, papa would be building stuff alongside... Haha

He likes the wheels the most, me thinks... Interchanging the blocks on it each time to perfection! Hahaa... And he's quite adamant about the colours and the way the Lego blocks are placed on it!! And mama has to build a 'tunnel' or 'bridge' for it to go through too!!

* adding finishing touches to ma ma's 'bridge'.... Blue?

* hmmm... Yellow looks better.. Hahahaha....

We will just add on these Duplo blocks as we go along!! :) great toy!!!!

Ps. Papa's creations... Insisting they are hulk, hungry caterpillar and something... Hahahahah....
