Thought we could also drop by the cafe with a small play equipment... But..... It was crowded with lots of children and mothers!! Gave it a miss.. Next time perhaps!
We bought a little "ball" of fish food at the customer service counter before we proceeded into the park... And babe was really fascinated with the dispenser!!! "So many colourful balls" (ok, his pronunciation was not that clear but u can hear these words somehow hahahah)
Cool, crisp air and trees wet with morning dew lined the walkway.... It's really a good feeling walking through it. Could feel our lungs being oxygenised!!! Hahahahah....
We sat at the edge of the pond and babe was quite happy to throw the tiny fish food pellet in.... one.at.a.time!!! Hahhaha can u imagine the frenzy it caused when each pellet reached the water?!! Hahahha... But they were all waiting so patiently!!!! And I must say, babe was also very patient..... Slowly but steadily fed the fishes one pellet at a time till all were gone! (Felt like a taiji master imparting my skills to my apprentice in this serene environment... honing his patience and calming his mind... Hahahahahah..... )
Can't really tell in the pictures but there were many different species of fish in there!!! The Lou Han fish, koi, catfish, some long unidentifiable fish (to me), arrowanas, small common fish (see them in every pond) haha,etc... And of course the tortoises and swans.....
When we were finally done feeding the fish, we took a few steps back to have our mid morning snack on the steps before walking back to our car. Great view of the pond and greenery!!! But little boy kept staring at an elderly couple doing some warming up exercises in the pavilion behind us. Hahaha... Wonder what did he think they were doing?!! Hahahaha
My baby didn't want to walk back and wanted me to carry him, which I obliged willingly... At over 12kg now, Mama wonders how long more can I hug my baby tight tight in my arms while taking a walk.... Absolutely love!!! :)
