Quiet as a bunny

.... flipping a book on his own. 

And later in the day...

... working on an engaging activity - gears!! After showing him how it worked, boy spent many half hours the next 4 days just working on it!! 

First, he selects the design he wants...

Then he adds the magnetic stumps onto the 'holes'. I like it that the stumps actually click into place... So he knows he has them in the right places. 

 

The gears are added next!! He spins each gear after putting them on...

And voila!! Time to spin the gears and watch them move in synchronized motion!!!

The look of contentment at his finished product - priceless!!! :))
