I just couldn't say no...

We were at the zoo this morning. What a beautiful day - Bright and sunny! :) Brought the big stroller to see if it was easy to transport and handle and if it fits into our usual hop on and off outings with just babe and I. I must say.... It was quite a breeze although it was rather heavy to get it off and on the van. But I guess it works out fine as it's easy to maneuver around and quite a smooth ride. Baby looks comfy in there too (without slouching on his sides)!! Haha

He loves this enclosure for its fish, not so much for the Pygmy hippos! Haha

We walked a different route today... And for the first time, we went to see the Australian outback. Very "opened" enclosure with the kangaroos.. As we were walking through, I had to mentally prepare on 'how should I react should one hop out to greet us'! Ahhahah... 

We managed to catch the elephants just before they headed back to their enclosure from their 'bath' area. :)

We did a lot of 'firsts' today!!! Hehee.. We fed the goats today!!! Hmmm didn't really notice them before... What a clever idea to leave a bunch of goat-can-eat leaves at the side for us to feed them!!!! Instead of the little ones throwing whatever they can find to feed them! Ahhaha... Babe was hesitant. He held on to the leaf for a long time.... And it made the billy goat very excited and it kept knocking it's horns on the fence (prob thats why he was hesitant!) ! Mama fed them instead... And I fed them all!!! hahaha all those waiting in line. 

Then came the water play area..... Haiz... He was already pointing to it when we stepped into the children's zoo. Managed to distract him with the pony and goats for a while. Ok, I should have known. If I didn't want him to play with water, I shouldn't step in here. Oh well, why not then!!! Even though we didn't have swim wear and swim diapers... Heck! Just go already!!! Hahahaha he approached the water with caution.. The ground was a little hot too... Haha then inched closer and closer.... And before I know it, he was splashing water with his mouth wide open!!! Hahahahah what fun!!! Mama will be fully equipped the next time! (Not many photos as I was busy pulling him in and helping him up with his extra heavy diaper!! Hahaha)
