Good morning Monday!!

What a hot start to the week! We went for our morning neighborhood walk in the sweltering heat and in Luke's new ride! Dodging the sun rays was a breeze with our new stroller.. haha... as it was something new for him and he was ok with the shades down, exploring the little windows by the side.. Haha.. Anyways, we were back rather soon and he was back to his regular cars and poking around the house.

Luke is more responsive to books in recent months, frequently pointing and "asking" about the pictures and is quite adamant on his 'choice' of books. More recently, he has been flipping the books on his own and doing the actions without me prompting at all. This morning, he woke and pointed to a pop up book (which I kept high on the shelf as tis a supervised book cos I didn't want him to tear the delicate parts out haha). I let him look through it himself and he was "giving mommy hugs", just like how the tamarinds were doing it!! :) I was really grinning from ear to ear hahaha... Cos reading to him was something I have been conscientiously doing since he was born! Hahaha I don't expect him to be able to read by a certain age etc.. but more so to keep his mind curious and enjoy reading! well, it helps that it also keeps him occupied for a while!! hahaha so to see response now just makes me feel so happy!! :)
