Regular yet not so regular mid week!!

This boy's obsession with the certain berry is over the top!!! Packed his water bottle and a bowl of blueberries to bring along for our walk and the playground and guess what?!! He saw the bowl and insisted on having it!!! Whining and on the verge of tears... Wouldn't barge!!! Didn't want to do pointless struggling over silly things so gave it to him and plonked him in his stroller!!! 

He was happily eating the berries and enjoying the sights along the way... Stopping occasionally to wave bye bye and point to the flowers, birds and planes. We reached the playground in no time and I bent down to unbuckle him, expecting him to run free like the usual. He screamed when I wanted to keep the berries and held on to the bowl. "Oh darling, lets go on the swing and slide!!! (Like we always do) let's keep the blueberries for later ok?"

"NO NO NO NO!!!!" Was the reply... Tightening his hold. ????? What??? 

Ok ok... So mama patiently waited.... Oh only three left... he stopped eating them and was looking into the bowl. "Lukey... Do u want to come down now?" "no no no no NO!!" Still wouldn't let me take the bowl.

Eh??? So we just stared at the 3 remaining berries for a while..... Hmmm.... "Can mama have one?" "No no"..... So we stared some more.... Then I asked if he wanted to hold the berries and went on to push his hands to grab them. It worked.... So there he was, holding on to the 3 berries and still looking at them! Unbuckled and put him down. After a long while, he finally put the berries into his mouth... As if they were the last 3 berries on earth!!! Gosh!!!! What a standoff!!!! Over berries?!!! 

Then we started playing!!!

Came home in a bucket of sweat!!! Hahaha... And did some indoor activities before lunch while mama was airing herself in front of the fan!!! Also sneaked in a few bites of choc wafer without telling auntie!! Hahaha... 

* "sar sar" which means "some some" while I was eating the wafers!

When ye ye came back in the evening, he brought a new water play equipment to add to our collection - a big water dispenser!!! Hahah.... Taught the boy how to use it and there he was, turning on and off the tap, filling his bucket!!! Oh good... we can fill the dispenser with a certain amount of water for each day and that would be it for the day!! That's Water rationing for my baby!!! Hahahha :)
