Mama is really amused today :)

Yess... It's the zoo again... Haha... Glad we walked up to see the Borneo orangutan first!!! Haha.... It really made me laugh.... 

This orangutan was sprawled on the floor without a care in the world... It has SOOO much fur!!!! hahahahah.... Occasionally turning to look at us... Then babe and I must have had irritated it so much that it turned and layed flat on his tummy, looking the other direction!! Hahahhaha.... This bunch of fur's nonchalant attitude was really funny!! 

We came to a little stream of water, tucked away in the bushes and sat there for a while... mama threw leaves in to watch them flow.... Oops, is it considered littering?? Gulp... But babe seemed fascinated..

Not sure about babe but Mama is really amused by many things today... Haha 

Eating 鸡腿 for the first time!!

Yummy scrummy!!! He couldn't angle his hand properly so he was chewing on the bone for a while.. haha... Nonetheless, he still finished the whole thing!!!! plus the rice, soup, carrots and corn!!!!! What an appetite today!!!! Somehow he doesn't quite fancy the potato... Spitting it out each time we try to feed him. We are still trying and pushing our luck!! Hahahaha....

Lukey and igloo....

It was on yesterday's trip the zoo that I realized that my little big boy remembers where the igloo is at the zoo!!!! Hahahah I thought we could skip it as we saw the polar bear at the pool (need not go into the frozen tundra exhibit where the polar bear's den and the igloo are located)... Mama sheepishly walked passed the glass door, distracting him with a big polar bear statue.... He looked. Then pointed back at the door and said "iglooooo"!!!! Drats! Hahahaha.....

Inuka strutting his stuff and fascinating us with his majestic yet graceful swim....

We took the snake/sun bear/Komodo dragon route and was back at the orangutan enclosure in an hour's.... Hmmm... The sky was suddenly overcast with a snap of the fingers and it was really windy!!!! Walk on? Head back? Walk on? Head back? Walk on? Head back? Hung around a little more..... Wind was getting stronger.... Gulp! Better head back!!! 

Brisk walked back to the entrance, bought an ice coffee, plonked babe into the car and drove off.... When we reached the main road, it started to pour!!!!!! Phew!!!!! The rain was so so so heavy the first half of our journey that I could barely see beyond 10metres!!! I kid u not!!! The cars all had their hazard lights on!!! Felt like I was driving through a storm and was praying hard that the trees don't collapse on us!!! Gulp....  Babe was nonchalant as usual... Eating his blueberries....

Two little boo boos...

Eyes glued to device while hands picked the berries... Almost like automated robot hands... Hahahaha 

They also finished a small container of puffs!!!!! The snack bowl was taken away for a while to see their reaction... And it was hilarious!!!!! Both hands descend to where the bowl was.... And started swishing around before they looked down to find it!!!! Hahahahahah

Our stay home morning

We woke at our regular time today (slightly after 7.30am, before papa leaves for work) but didn't go out of our room for breakfast till about 9ish!! When we were done with breakkie, it was almost 10!! Haha... Why? Cos the little bum bum wanted to play in the "ba tub"!!! Hahaha..

Our morning wash up routine is usually just a quick shower (ie, without the tub).. But somehow, he asked for the tub today. Okie!! Into the tub u go, babe!!! And there he was... Swooshing water from bottle to bottle, fiddling with the funnel and other containers.... For half an hour!!!! I just let him be... Cos he was in deep concentration and mama loves to watch him play quietly (on his own)!!! Of cos I was just next to him... Taking pictures, and watching... Shhhhhhh...

* I think he likes the motion of pushing an empty bottle into the water to hear the bubbling sound of air escaping.... Therapeutic!! Haha...

After his bath, we spent another good half hour reading all the new books... Gulp! Forgot to keep them to intro one at a time.... :( anyways, glad that he likes them.... how do i gauge? He makes me read the same book over and over again!! Up to 8 times!!!! And we can do that for a few books!!! 

We have something new with our bread for breakkie today!! :) something mama loves!!!! Nutella!!!! Hehee.... He loves it too!!!! Asked for more after each piece!!!! But we will limit the amount for now.... haha... So far, we have done bread (on our bread days) with marmalade (eats but not a big fan), with peanut butter (quite alright with it), toasted with cheese slices (only likes the newly toasted pieces, hence always half finished cos by the time he gets to the remaining pieces, they will be soft and chewy), with soft cheese triangles (this is our regular combi), dipped with yogurt (for quick breakkie hahaha.. Cos he finishes a single serving tub of yogurt almost everyday, so we just drop small pieces of bread with each spoonful!! Haha).....

We spent the rest of our morning at the car porch.... Playing..... And making mama ride on the small little car while he took the bike!! I'm gonna break the car one of these days with my weight on it!!! Haha... 

Everything (legs included) becomes his track!!!! With sound effects too!!!

This little boo boo wriggled out of my grasp on him while I was changing him!!! "No no no no..." And ran off!! ... On his little bike!!!

Finally caught up with him and off we went to....... The zoo again!!! Hahahahhaha..... We walked today - no stroller, no carrier..... And I think it was much better for him to explore but it was really tough on my hands after an hour... 

Managed to take some scenery shots today .. Haha

.. And we were at the otters for about 10mins today!! Maybe because I was carrying him and he had the chance to take a closer look(?)... I dunno... He was just watching those cuties moving up and down and making whistling sounds!! (Today is a take-his-cue-day... I let him decide when to go :) )

We went on our usual route and came back to the polar bear for our snack and drinks. :) we just sat and watched from afar.... Too crowded at the front!! but it was really Cool!! Inuka playing with a branch in the water.... :)

Ps. Papa, the new batch of blueberries were rejected!! Hahahaha... He gave the bowl back to me after only eating a few!! Hahahahha.....

A good day for waterplay!! The full works!! :)

Stripped him and plonked him into the tub!! And there he was, happily playing with all barang barang... :)

Hilariously funny, he stuck his tongue out everytime we sprayed him with water!! Haha... babe!! U should close your mouth!!! Hahahaha....

The magnificent Inuka

We go to the zoo so regularly but today it's the FIRST time we saw the polar bear swimming!!!! (Usually its at the doorway between his cool den and outdoor platform) It was really magnificent!!! The children were shrieking in delight!!! And lukey was glued to the glass panel!!!

Today is Saturday!

This is our Saturday configuration in our weekend ride... Usually to kai kai kor kor's house.... Sniff.. Mama has to sit at the back!! Hahaha.... 

Earlier in the afternoon, Babe went to play downstairs with Kai Kai kor kor.... And after about 10mins, Kai Kai ran into the study where I was and exclaimed very animatedly that they were trying to wash off some leaves from lukey's face but he got all wet... "Like THIS!!" And out popped my son laughing heartily and dripping wet!!!!! Hahahha hilarious!!!!!! Hahahahaha...couldn't stop laughing!!
