Totally an animal day!!!

My babe is totally into animals today!!!! Could tell me the names of the animals (even the "meerkat"!) and was happily pointing to them!! He also spotted monkeys on our way to the zoo, on the trees lining the reservoir!!! Wow!!

* our dear inuka air drying himself after his swim...

* we were watching some info programme at the snake enclosure.... Gulp, the 4.2m cobra they have was caught in a drain along thomson road!!! 

* he spotted the small tortoise walking towards the bushes in one of the lizard's enclosure!

* staring at the spider..... 

* have been trying to take a nice posed picture with nice green background... Failed... Yet again!

* I guess we already chalked up enough parking tickets to make our zoo pass worthwhile!! Hahahaha..... And that's not counting the entrance fees!! Hahahaha...

Ps. And the zookeeper in charge of the big cats recognizes us!!! Hahahah... And I think babe does recognize him too!! Cos he allowed the uncle to pat his head and even waved to him!! 

This past month has been rather amazing for us as babe has been surprising us with the things he knows!!! It's almost as if he suddenly saw the light!! Hahahaha.... I think the best thing we did with him was to read to him!! We did not consciously "teach" him anything and mama gave up on those flash cards and stuff a long time ago... Hahahah.... Just reading a variation of books, whatever he fancies and have never refused him when he asked us to read.... He is now showing us that he has been absorbing those stories and facts and we feel like holding on to each other and crying tears of joy sometimes!! Hahahahah..... Even The littlest thing is pure pleasure!!! Hahahaha.... Really never felt more satisfied ... :) (no, he is not rattling off the names of countries in the world or reciting poems... Hahahhaha... Just simple words... We are just as thrilled as first time parents!! Hahahahha)
